Critical thinking and media literacy

I think learning to analyze information is really valuable because it helps me understand things more deeply and not believe everything I see. It allows me to recognize the difference between facts, opinions, and manipulation in the media. I realized how much social networks, advertisements, and news can influence the way we think and make decisions. That’s why I believe it’s very important to question what we see or read before believing or sharing it, since misinformation spreads so easily nowadays. This topic taught me that being a critical thinker means being responsible and aware of the information we consume and share with others.

Developing critical thinking and media literacy helped me understand that English is not only for communication but also for reflection. It allows us to question information, express our opinions with respect, and make informed decisions in a world full of media influence.
