Talking about someone special

One of the first projects I worked on in my English class was a video where we had to talk about a person we admire and love. I chose one of my best friends because she’s someone I really care about. In the video, I shared details about her life, her hobbies, and how much she loves dancing, it’s what makes her truly happy and full of life. I really enjoyed this project because I got to talk about someone special to me while practicing how to describe people in English.

This final project was a beautiful way to close the course. Talking about someone I admire reminded me that language is much more than grammar and vocabulary, it’s a bridge that allows us to express emotions and connect with others. Through this activity, I learned that the best way to learn a language is by using it to talk about the things and people that truly matter to us.
